Scottish Staycations

Scotland is the most mountainous out of the four countries in the United Kingdom, sharing a border with England to the South. Bordering the country to the east is the North Sea, and to the west is the Atlantic Ocean. The capital of Scotland is Edinburgh and was the first city in the world to have its own fire station. Like Rome, Edinburgh was built on seven hills.

Scotland is steeped in history and vast with stunning landscapes and lochs. It is the perfect location to truly escape the hustle and bustle of daily life with a cottage holiday. Some great cottages to stay in Scotland include the Signal Box in Kingussie, the Rose Cottage in Maidens, and the Glen Euchar House in Oban.
