Cottages in Cornwall

Cornwall is located in the South West of England, and is bordered by both the Baltic Sea and the English Channel. Cornwall has 300 miles of coastline,  and is also home to Great Britain's most southerly promontory, The Lizard, and one of the most westerly points, Land’s End.
It is a great location to visit which wouldn’t be complete without staying in a Cornish cottage. Some excellent accommodation in Cornwall includes Lower Trevorgus Garden Cottage in Padstow, Milton Cottage in Bude, and Goosewell House in Callington.

Lower Trevorgus Garden Cottage, Padstow

Located on the north coast of Cornwall, this property is tucked away between Newquay and Padstow, in the beautiful village of St Merryn. It is in an idyllic position for exploring the beaches and varied landscape along the coastline. In addition, Padstow is recognised for its busy harbour, restaurants serving fresh local cuisine, and an array of walks and cycling trails in the surrounding area. This stunning converted barn is situated in the grounds of Lower Trevorgus House, the beautifully converted property is set in the tranquil countryside.

Milton Cottage, Bude

This charming thatched cottage is situated down a quiet country lane, near the town of Bude. Located on the Atlantic coast, guests can enjoy this beautifully restored Grade II listed building. The kitchen/breakfast room is very cosy with an Aga and a small stove for cooking. In the sitting room you can cosy up on a rainy day in front of the wood-bruner. The property has traditional cottage stairs (mind your head), leading to the landing where the bedrooms pair off. On the ground floor there is a charming bathroom and access to a utility-room and shower just outside. From the dining room you can also enjoy spectacular views of the huge enclosed garden.

Goosewell House, Callington

This is a great rural retreat, perfect for large families or groups. Situated just a few miles outside of Callington, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The property was originally a Victorian gentleman's residence and is perfect for exploring both Cornwall and Devon. This outstanding house boasts a spacious accommodation with many features including marble fireplaces, original slate floors in the hall and kitchen. The large well-equipped kitchen also features pieces of marble reclaimed from Plymouth Cathedral when it was rebuilt.
