Easter Walks

Happy Easter Monday readers! We hope you had a good Easter whatever you were doing to celebrate. We’re sure most of you will have indulged in one or two easter eggs over the course of the weekend and so for this week’s blog we thought we’d share with you some of the best places to take an Easter walk to burn off the chocolate and welcome spring, weather permitting of course.

Seven Sisters, East Sussex

The famed white cliffs of the South coast of England look even better in the spring light. A trip down south to the Seven Sisters of East Sussex is certainly a breathtaking experience. Walk along the cliffs and witness the waves below batter the ancient stone, it’s an exhilarating walk alright!

Mam Tor, Peak District
Also known as The Shivering Mountain the area is nothing short of dramatic. To get to the summit requires a little effort but the rewards are definitely worthwhile. Take in the stunning, sweeping views and try and spot the signs of spring filling the valleys such as lambs and daffodils. The area has many footpaths for you to explore the surroundings with, ensuring you a safe and pleasant walk.

The Wales Coastal Path
Covering roughly 870 miles of pristine Welsh coastland the path spans the entire coastline of Wales and is open all year round to the public. So for this one we are letting you the reader choose which segment of the path you journey along. We don’t think it gets much better than Pembrokeshire’s St David’s Peninsula!
